A LADY'S ONLY DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT

Disc Golf has proven to be great for the whole community. It’s inexpensive to start playing, helps to create an appreciation for nature and it’s healthy (a single round accounts for over 50% of your daily recommended exercise by the american heart association). While
Disc Golf has seen it’s grown, women still only make up a fairly small minority of disc golfers.

From a survey in 2022, women accounted for only 20% of the pro tour field (the highest level of play in the sport), in addition reviewing over 7000 rounds on UDisc (the most used app for scoring disc golf rounds) only 3% of players are female. Increasing the participation of women in sports is important for several reason including the promotion of physical health, mental health, skill development and representation for future generations.
